The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII has released the second tranche of the emergency cash subsidy under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) to Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries on June 11, 2020.

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Bogo City, Cebu withdraw from the Landbank automated teller machines (ATM) the 2nd trance of the emergency subsidy under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Based on Executive Order No. 112, S. of 2020 dated April 30, DSWD targets low income families who are under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the month of May and this includes Cebu province for the Central Visayas region.

More than 147,406 4Ps household beneficiaries in Cebu who are cash card holders received the Php 4,650.00 emergency cash subsidy. The emergency cash subsidy serves as a top-up amount added to their regular cash grant of Php 1,350.00 which includes Php 750.00 for the health grant and Php 600.00 for the rice subsidy.

For 4Ps non-cash card holders, it will be facilitated again through a direct pay-out scheme by the DSWD. The 4Ps beneficiaries are reminded to wait for their Pantawid City or Municipal Links (C/MLs) for information on when their subsidy will be available for release.

Also, all 4Ps household beneficiaries availing the emergency cash subsidy under SAP are no longer qualified to receive other subsidy from other national government agencies such as DOLE’s CAMP or Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Displaced/ Underprivileged Workers (TUPAD), DA’s Cash Assistance for Farmers Survival and Recovery (SURE) Assistance for marginalized, small farmers and fishers recovery package, small business wage subsidy of the Social Security System (SSS), etc. ###
