The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 7—Central Visayas urged active Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) household beneficiaries with pregnant members or children aged 0 to 2 to update their household profiles through the i-Registro platform.

DSWD staff orients a 4Ps grantee from Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City on how to update their information online using the i-Registro web platform.

The updating of household profiles is in preparation for the nationwide implementation of the First 1,000 Days (F1KD) conditional cash grants this year.

The i-Registro, or the Dynamic Social Registry (DSR), aims to expedite the profile updating of pregnant women and children in 4Ps households through digital and self-service platforms.

Previously, the DSWD-7 encouraged 4Ps household beneficiaries to update their information and contact details through their 4Ps city/municipal links (C/MLs) assigned in their respective area by filling out the Beneficiary Updating System (BUS) form 5.

As of January 9, 2025, some 13,806 4Ps beneficiaries who are 0-2 years old have been updated and are eligible for the FIKD conditional cash grants.

“Through the i-Registro, 4Ps beneficiaries can conveniently update their profiles from the comfort of their homes. They can also upload supporting documents online and receive notifications via text or email about the status of their updates within minutes, so for those 4Ps beneficiaries who have not yet visited their 4Ps City and Municipal Links, they can use the i-Registro platform,” said Regional Director Lucero.

Director Lucero emphasized that i-Registro will not replace the traditional pen-and-paper updating process.

“It only serves as a digital updating platform that will especially work for those with mobile devices and internet access,” said Director Lucero.

The 4Ps beneficiaries have the choice to update their profiles manually by filling out the BUS form or digitally through the i-Registro web portal. However, updating in both methods is discouraged to prevent duplication of records.

“We encourage all 4Ps beneficiaries, especially those who have not yet filled out the BUS form 5, to utilize the i-Registro as an alternative, innovative, and self-service platform to update their profiles for the implementation of F1KD,” underscored Lucero.

The i-Registro also connects with the Philippine National Identification System (PhilSys) and the 4Ps database to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and integrity.

Beneficiaries can access the i-Registro through https://iregistro-4ps.dswd.gov.ph

The conditional grant under FIKD intends to address significant gaps in maternal and child health, like inadequate prenatal care and nutritional deficiencies, which can lead to stunted growth and developmental delays in children.

The 4Ps, launched in 2008 and institutionalized in 2019 through Republic Act No. 11310 or the 4Ps Act, provide subsidies to identify poor households whose children received education grants to finish elementary and senior high school, health grants, and rice subsidies. ###
