The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VII (DSWD) is now looking for an ambassadress of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) through the search for 4Ps ReyNanay.

The search for 4Ps ReyNanay will pay tribute to empowered 4Ps mothers who have made a significant impact and contribution to their community. The pageant will revolve around the theme “Inspiration and Aspiration,” which will tackle each candidate’s inspirational stories and their aspiration to further uplift their family’s level of well-being with the help of the program.

The search is open to all women-beneficiaries of 4Ps ages 40 to 55 years old.

Candidates must be beneficiaries of the program for at least two years, have good standing in the community with no derogatory records, whose income does not come from gambling, prostitution, child labor, extortion, and other similar illegal resources, and most importantly, be 100% compliant with all the conditionalities of the program.

There will be a total of eight (8) candidates representing the four provinces of the Central Visayas region, which includes three (3) from Cebu, two (2) from Bohol and Negros Oriental, and one (1) from Siquijor.

The eight candidates will participate in various preliminary activities, which include the submission of their introduction and advocacy videos.

The introduction video will briefly present the candidate and her family and how the program helped her family’s level of well-being, while the advocacy video will encapsulate the candidate’s active participation or initiative in the community, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A one-on-one interview will also be conducted prior to the coronation night on June 16, 2022.

The candidates will also showcase their poise and personal style by wearing their town’s festival attire, eco-casual wear, and modern Filipiniana Terno during the coronation night.

The top 3 finalists will proceed to the final question and answer portion before crowning the winner.

All candidates will get cash prizes and certificates of recognition.

The candidates are expected to be 4Ps local ambassadresses, especially on women’s empowerment and promotion of their own advocacy. They will also have the chance to deliver testimonies during the Family Development Session (FDS) and other relevant gatherings. ###
