The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII encourages beneficiaries of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) to register to the ReliefAgad application to expedite the process of gathering beneficiaries’ information.

SAP beneficiaries may access www.reliefagad.ph using their smartphones.

DSWD-7 also reminds the beneficiaries to provide the accurate and complete data of their family in filling out the online app. The first two (2) family members that the SAP beneficiaries will register will serve as the alternate representative of the family when receiving the emergency cash subsidy.

“ReliefAgad enables SAP beneficiaries to encode their SAC form information digitally, safely at home using their mobile phones. The ReliefAgad had a pilot run in the National Capital Region (NCR) and now this is being conducted nationwide including Central Visayas region,” said DSWD-7 Regional Director Rebecca Geamala.

Director Geamala further explained that those who can register in the ReliefAgad app are those SAP beneficiaries in Cebu province including the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu as well as the waitlisted families in the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental and Siquijor.

The waitlisted families are those low income families who were not included and provided the emergency cash subsidy under SAP during the first tranche.

For those who does not have a copy of their SAC form, they can visit their Local Government Unit (LGU) to get the copy of their own SAC form.

The SAC form contains a unique barcode as a security feature. Proceeding with the registration through the ReliefAgad app using a duplicate SAC form may result to invalid barcode, especially if the barcode was already registered by another beneficiary.

Here are the simple steps in encoding SAC information using ReliefAgad:

Step 1: Go to www.reliefagad.ph using a smartphone.

Step 2: Scan the barcode at the lower right-hand corner of the SAC form. Note: If you are unable to scan the barcode, manually encode the serial number on the barcode.

Step 3: Encode your personal information on the app.

Step 4: Enter the information on the members of your family.

Step 5: Select your preferred payment method where you will be able to directly receive the cash assistance.

TIP: ReliefAgad has a cash option as well. However, if you are able to use your GCash, PayMaya, 58 PESONet-participating bank account/s, you can receive the cash assistance directly through your account upon validation of DSWD.

Step 6: Enter the One-Time-PIN (OTP) which you will receive through SMS.

Step 7: Press Submit.

After completing the steps, you will need to wait for DSWD’s confirmation and announcement as they conduct validations to the submitted registrations.

If the household head does not have a smartphone, they may use their child’s or any of their family member’s smartphone to register through ReliefAgad.

DSWD’s partners such as Developers Connect Philippines (DEVCON) who developed ReliefAgad and the United States Agency for International Aid (USAID), are continuously providing technical support to drive more beneficiaries to register through ReliefAgad. ###
