The Department of Social Welfare and Development – Field Office VII honored its partners and volunteers in their efforts and contributions in helping to achieve inclusive development and participation among sectors in society through the Pagkilala sa Natatanging Kontribusyon sa Bayan or the PaNata ko sa Bayan Award.

DSWD-7 acknowledges its partners through Pagkilala sa Natatanging Kontribusyon sa Bayan or the PaNata ko sa Bayan Award for their efforts. The partners vow to share their resources, time, and selves in providing for a better opportunity for the disadvantaged sectors to have equal access to opportunities.

The recognition of awardees was conducted during the 70th Founding Anniversary Culminating Activity on March 5 at the Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center II in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

The following are the PaNata ko sa Bayan awardees and their categories:

A. Salamat Po (Development partners and volunteers who helped the DSWD deliver its social protection services)

  2. Mr. Vincent B. Kapuno and Mrs. Nora J. Kapuno – Best Foster Parent
  3. Armed Forces of the Philippines Central Command – Best Volunteer Group
  4. Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philippines, Inc. – Development Partner
  5. Buddhist Compassion Relief Foundation Cebu – Outstanding Volunteer for DSWD Centers in Residential Care Facilities
