The sessions combined theory with hands-on learning, focusing on improving day-to-day financial practices. A key highlight was the introduction of digital financial management using Microsoft Excel, replacing traditional manual record-keeping methods. This transition allows CBOs to streamline financial documentation, ensure better accuracy, and maintain more organized records.

The training brought together 14 participants from seven CBOs across Cebu, all eager to learn and apply new tools to improve their organizations’ financial health. This EPAHP initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to empowering community groups by building their capacity to manage resources effectively and pursue income-generating opportunities.

This training is part of the EPAHP’s broader mission to help reduce poverty, strengthen community development, and connect local organizations to opportunities that can boost their income through better resource management. ###
