The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 7-Central Visayas continues to observe the month-long celebration of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month. Regional Director Shalaine Marie Lucero, alongside DSWD 7 officials and staff, led the unveiling of the DSWD 7 Information Billboard. This physical display serves as an easily accessible source of information about DSWD services, presented in a digital format to enhance public awareness and engagement.

The DSWD 7 Information Billboard serves as the whole FO 7 corner for EODB advocacy materials, announcements, program information and updates, upcoming events, and activities.

This innovation is another first in the field office.

During today’s convocation, RD Lucero addressed the staff, emphasizing Secretary Gatchalian’s message on service delivery: “Our thrust is to deliver services that exceed expectations and not mere policy compliance, enabling the public to access support with dignity and ease.”

This month-long observance seeks to raise awareness, promote reforms, and encourage collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, and the public to improve the ease of doing business in the Philippines.

This 2025 EODB Month banners the theme “Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas.” The EODB Month is celebrated every May under Presidential Proclamation No. 818, s. 2019. ###
