Ok kami sa ganitong proseso, less hassle at maka-update agad kaya okay talaga itong may link (We are fine with this kind of process, less hassle and we can update immediately with this link),” said Riza C. Timkang, a 4Ps beneficiary from Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City, who have tried using the i-Registro link for the first time.

NHTS-7 head, Mr. Lester R. Laborte, guides the 4Ps members in using the i-Registro link during their orientation in Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City.

The i-Registro, also called the Dynamic Social Registry (DSR), is an online web portal adopted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, capable of self-service registration and updating of information, validation, authentication, and interoperability with other administrative databases.

With this digital platform, beneficiaries like the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) can update their information in the comfort of their homes, provided they have internet connection and have smart phones or computers.

DSWD pilot-tested the i-Registro system in July 2024 for pregnant and lactating mothers (PLMs) located in the municipalities of Floridablanca in Pampanga, Pateros in Metro Manila, and Cordova in Cebu.

In Region 7, DSWD introduced the i-Registro web portal in the last quarter of 2024 to pregnant 4Ps beneficiaries and those with 0-2 years old children, who were encouraged to use it as an alternative way to update their information.

The National Household Targeting Office (NHTO) officers and the NHTS-7 staff introduced it during their visit in Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City, as it is needed for the implementation of the First 1,000 days (F1KD) conditional cash grant.

One expectant Pantawid mother brought a health card to prove she is pregnant during the online registration. Other documents needed are birth certificates, vaccination booklet for 0-2- year-old children, nanay and baby book, among others.

Aside from the documents, registrants are also required to be 18 years old and above and with PhilSys/National ID or ePhil ID before they click on the link https://iregistro-4ps.dswd.gov.ph/

Jovelyn P. Oliamot, one of the attending 4Ps beneficiaries who attended the activity, said the updating was fast. “Dali ra gyud kaayo, wala ra kaabtig 5 mins (it was fast, it took me only less than 5 minutes),” said Oliamot.

Further, the 4Ps beneficiaries, if they are still comfortable, can continue with the traditional way of updating their information through the manual way using paper forms, as long as they do not use both methods, as this may result in duplicate records.

As of this writing, around 60 4Ps beneficiaries in Central Visayas have registered and updated their information using the i-Registro link. ###
