The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 7 has prepositioned a total of 81,512 food and non-food items across Cebu and Bohol Provinces in preparation for the incoming Tropical Storm “Tino.”

As of November 2, 2025, the Field Office has prepositioned 71,535 Family Food Packs (FFPs) amounting to ₱33.8 million and 9,977 non-food items (NFIs) worth ₱28.2 million. These non-food items include hygiene kits, family kits, kitchen kits, and clothing kits. All items are strategically prepositioned in regional warehouses in Cebu and Bohol and in various local government units (LGUs) across Region 7.
DSWD Field Office 7 Regional Director Shalaine Marie Lucero assured the public that the department is ready for the onset of Tropical Storm Tino and its possible effects on Cebu and Bohol.
“DSWD Field Office 7 has been actively coordinating with local government units across Cebu and Bohol for the prepositioning of food and non-food items over the past weeks. We are confident that the agency can immediately respond should LGUs require additional assistance from DSWD. Our Quick Response Team is also on standby in case there is a need to activate them for massive disaster operations after the storm,” Lucero said.
The DSWD Field Office 7, through its Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), continues to closely monitor the movement of Tropical Storm Tino, which entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on November 2, 2025. ###
